Sazeh Sazan Pars Water and Energy Production Company
Sazeh Sazan Pars Water and Energy Production Company (Private Joint Stock Company) commenced its activities in 1998 with a focus on managing infrastructure projects, drawing on the experience and expertise of managers and executives of major projects and in line with the country’s overarching policies for development and prosperity.
In 2006, the company further developed its approach and shifted its primary focus to the supply, production, and distribution of fresh water and electricity generation. In cooperation with the Ministry of Energy, the company began investing in projects for the construction and operation of industrial desalination units and power plants, as well as the development of related facilities.
Drawing on successful models from around the world and relying on its managerial capabilities and expertise, the company expanded its activities to meet part of the country’s needs in the supply, production, and distribution of fresh water, as well as electricity generation through power plants. By implementing numerous projects in various regions of Iran and establishing a successful model, the company has contributed to achieving the goals and vision of the water and wastewater industry in the field of privatization
Considering the increasing water demand of population centers, industries, and mines located in Hormozgan Province and neighboring provinces, as well as the availability of the vast water resources of the Persian Gulf, the construction and development of the Saqi Kowsar Desalination Complex, with an ultimate production capacity of one million cubic meters per day, has been on the company’s agenda since the beginning of 2012.
